i've gotten a lot of questions about how i manage my X account with grok bot, so i'm sharing my bot tibot today! he watches your mentions and:

    • finds every post about you or any keywords, tagged or not
    • gives one short, sorted digest a day (or hourly, your call)
    • skips spam and noise
    • translates non-English posts
    • can auto block trolls and abuse
    • never posts for you

i still write all my posts and articles by hand but tibot has been very helpful with keeping me in the loop.

    hire tibot today!

here’s a short grok bot guide on how i create high quality bots and manage my team. ask @bot to read this post and help you improve your team!

    • add dr eggbot to your team! he’s my bot designer that i use to create bots
    • you don’t need a lot of bots. a few good bots can be more useful and easier to manage than a large team
    • tell your bots to create skills for itself as you give it instructions on how to do tasks. this lets them do them more consistently even over long conversations. you can even ask it to create a private github repo for you to store all your skills if you want them preserved independently
    • add connectors, use the vault, and give access to all the tools you use to do your work. you can also ask your bot to setup its own email and it can sign up for its own accounts for better separation
    • thinking about all the work you do by hand, or steps in your workflows where you have to copy and paste information back to your bot. ask your bot how it can do that for you instead!
    • imagine you hired an intern, how would you onboard them and help them do the work correctly and efficiently? introduce yourself to your bot and describe the work you do, then ask it how it can help you automate it

and my favorite tip: use voice mode or the transcription option! it’s a good way to just brain dump a lot of information. then, at the end, tell your bot to “restate this in your own words” so you can confirm it understood you

try this prompt in grok @bot:

Look through my work from the last two weeks: emails I sent, meetings, Slack messages, docs I edited, and anything else you can see.

List the tasks I did more than once, grouped by type. For each one, tell me:
    - what the task is, in one line
    - how often I did it
    - roughly how long it takes me each time
    - whether you could do it for me, partly or fully, and what you'd need access to

Then pick the top 3 to automate first, ranked by time saved, and suggest a routine or a dedicated bot for each.

Grok Bot is surprisingly good for reservations

I had @bot watch each hour for openings at a popular bathhouse and sushi spot in SF

It found cancellations at 2:00pm & 5:45pm on Saturday - premium spots that usually require a month advance booking

Bot pinged me when openings appeared and I was able to finalize the booking before spots filled up!

My Grok Bot has its own mailing address now.

It can literally receive letters in the post.

→ Mail arrives at a virtual office
→ Staff open and scan it
→ Scans go straight to its email
→ Grok Bot reads the contents

It's insane what you can do with Grok Bot.

there's a gigantic race to dominate the personal AI agent space...

Hermes, Grok Bot, Instinct, Duet, Dots... now OpenBot, which looks very promising

but rebuilding your workflow from scratch every time you switch is a hassle

so here's a prompt to send your current agent... it builds a .zip you hand to the new one so it rebuilds the exact same setup:

    ----------------------------

"package my whole setup into one .zip file so a different AI agent can rebuild it exactly

    include:
    - who i am, my preferences and how i like you to talk
    - everything you remember about me and my work
    - every skill, workflow, routine and scheduled task, with exact steps
    - my custom instructions and system prompts, word for word
    - every tool and integration you use and how it's set up (never passwords or API keys)
    - the files and templates my workflows depend on

put a README at the top that tells the new agent how to rebuild everything, step by step

if you're unsure about anything, ask me before you zip it"

Lauren Tan just dropped the full pstack she uses to build with Grok Bot - 54 reusable skills in one system.

instead of rewriting prompts for every task, she turns recurring work into skills:

    → /architect before coding
    → /swarm for parallel work
    → /interrogate to challenge changes
    → /correct when something breaks
→ /reflect to turn mistakes into lessons
    → /technical-writing for clean docs
→ /automate-me to convert her own workflow into a skill

plus 24 operating principles that control how agents plan, verify, handle context, and ship.

54 skills. one plugin. a much more capable agent.

Stop making Grok Bot relearn a job you already taught it

Stripe demonstrated the payoff: one integration task took roughly 20 engineering days with plain Claude Code and 4 with reusable prompts.

Build that discipline into Grok Bot:

    1. Give an Operator Bot one recurring job and a clear definition of done.

    2. Save each proven step as a skill with inputs, validation checks, expected output and approval rules.

    3. Give a Reviewer Bot the output, source links and run notes. Ask it to flag missing evidence, repeated investigations and failed tools.

    4. Review its proposed skill edits, test them on a fresh example, then schedule the workflow.

Private skills can be reused across your Bots. A routine decides when the work runs.

For a competitor brief, let one Bot gather changes and another check every claim against its source.

Measure correction count, review time and repeated tool failures to see whether the workflow is improving.

Grok Bot can work while you sleep, but a $150M outage explains why you should set its permissions before going offline

In 2017, an incorrect command input disrupted Amazon S3.

Cyence estimated $150M in losses for S&P 500 companies.

Here’s a practical Grok Bot setup:

    > Connect your incident tools and configure a routine for a specific Sentry, PagerDuty or GitHub event, or a webhook.

    > It runs on a persistent cloud computer, even with your laptop closed.

    > Tell it to compare current errors with recent releases, collect relevant logs and return a timeline, source links, hypotheses and a proposed fix.

    > Require approval before production changes.

Test one investigation, save the method as a skill, then automate the trigger. Define what happens when data is missing or a run fails.

One important detail: all your Bots share files, browser sessions and sign-ins.

Giving a Bot a different name doesn’t isolate its access.
