How this helps you
You see every handoff between Bots in one place instead of guessing what they said to each other.
Do we have any outstanding invoices? If so, agree between you who does what to get them paid, and post the plan here before contacting any client.
What they did
Bots can message each other on their own, which Charlie Chang likes, but you do not see those side chats. His fix is a group thread. He clicks the plus button, creates a group chat with his executive assistant, finance Bot and COO Bot, and asks whether there are outstanding invoices and how to get them paid. In the thread, the Bots split the work in front of him; his finance Bot is asked to pull open receivables from QuickBooks. The thread stays in the sidebar so he can return to it.
Who it's for: Anyone running a few specialist Bots who wants to see how they coordinate.
How to try it
- Click the plus button and choose to create a group chat.
- Add the Bots that need to work together.
- Post one clear goal, for example a question about overdue invoices.
- Return to the thread from the sidebar to follow progress.
What to expect
The Bots reply in the same thread and hand tasks to each other where you can see them.
Common mistakes
- Using a group thread for everything. Multi-Bot chats use more usage, so keep them for coordination.
- Adding Bots that have no part in the task.

- Back up your whole Bot setup: Have each Bot document its job, rules, skills and routines into a recovery doc, kept current monthly.

- Chain a whole errand into one prompt: Hand over every step of a job in one message, including the follow-up rule, and let the Bot ask your other Bots for what it needs.
- Run a daily standup with your Bots in a group chat: Put your main Bots in one group chat and have your primary Bot ask each morning what everyone is doing today, so nothing slips.
