Build a crew dashboard of what every Bot is doing

Intermediate, 10 minutes

A Page that shows which Bots need you, which are busy and which are idle, rebuilt every morning.

How this helps you

One page tells you which Bots need you, so you skip clicking through every chat.

✦ Try it
Build me a Page dashboard of all my Bots: who needs me (with their question), who is busy and on what, and who has been idle and since when. Ask me questions first. Then rebuild it every day at 7am.

What they did

Kacper Rutkiewicz uses a Page as a morning view of all his Bots. It shows how many need him, how many are busy and how many are idle, with the ones needing him at the top along with their question. Busy Bots show when they were last active and what they were on. Idle Bots show how long since use, which he uses to retire Bots. He says he made it by asking for a dashboard of all his Bots and letting the Bot ask him questions first. It is not live; a 7am routine rebuilds it, and it is pinned in his library. He then changed the colours and layout just by asking in the message box under the page, which took about 20 seconds.

Who it's for: Anyone with more than a few Bots.

How to try it

  1. Ask your main Bot for a dashboard of all your Bots, and tell it to ask you questions first.
  2. Answer its questions about what you want to see.
  3. Ask it to add a routine that rebuilds the page each morning.
  4. Pin the page in your library, and edit it by messaging under the page.

What to expect

A one-screen summary with counts at the top and a list per status.
