How this helps you
Useful ideas from X reach you once a day in Slack, with suggestions for your own workflow.
Look out for interesting things people are doing with Grok Bot on X and Slack me a daily digest at 9am. If there's anything relevant, pick the coolest ideas and suggest how I can use them to improve my workflow.
What they did
A prompt shared by @C_A_Walker and others combines X monitoring, the Slack connector and a routine.
Who it's for: Anyone who wants to keep up with X without scrolling.
How to try it
- Connect Slack. Bots can search and read public X without connecting X.
- Paste the prompt into your Bot.
- Check the first digest and tell the Bot what to drop or keep.
- Ask it to save that as the routine's rule.
What to expect
A 9am Slack message with a few posts and a suggestion for each.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the topic too broad. Name the topic and the kind of posts you care about.
- Running it more than once a day. A daily digest rarely needs to be faster.

- Automations are not Grok Bot: SuperGrok Automations are a separate product. Know which one you're using.
- Let a team Bot answer requests in Slack: Install a team Bot in Slack so colleagues tag it directly, and give it a routine to catch missed tags.
- Get links to every comment you haven't answered: Kris wakes up to hundreds of comments. The Bot sends links to each unanswered one and Kris replies personally.
- Tag @bot on X: say "send it to my bot": Just tagging @bot won't reach your chat. Ask it to send it to your Bot.
- A news-to-website pipeline with two approval gates: Four Bots gather news from X, draft an edition, and ship articles through a pull request, but nothing moves without an "approve" and a "publish" from you.
- A content scout routine that files X news onto your idea board: Twice a day, a Bot reads public posts on X, picks three topics worth covering, and adds the useful links to matching cards on your Notion idea board.
- tibot: one sorted digest of everything said about you on X: A marketplace Bot that finds posts about you or your keywords, tagged or not, and sends one short sorted digest a day. It never posts for you.
- A read-only X Bot that finds conversations worth joining: A Bot checks X every 30 minutes for fresh posts you can add something to, ranks them Act now, Maybe or Skip, and never posts.
Worth knowingSeveral people posted the same prompt. If the digest only uses public information, a scheduled Grok Automation can be cheaper (see Automations vs Grok Bot).Next in Connectors →Connectors before the browser
